Abi Moffat

Abi Moffat is an artist living and working in Hastings. Specialising in abstract painting, her work explores the psychological and emotional impact of colour and the power of translating natural light within a painted image. Her work focuses on the build up of rich colour & depth through layering, rubbing back and reapplying materials with varied tools, brushes and her own fingers. Abi incorporates collage into the surface to blend subtle moments of familiarity with abstraction. Abi's works are emotive & reactionary, inspired by her surroundings and a love for playing around with the potential qualities of paint. Her original paintings are available for sale, with the option for private commissions. With commissions Abi works closely with clients to create a desired aesthetic and colour palette for varied interiors.
